GSPN Digital Mag Week 7 – BALL HAWK FINALIST EDITION

🏆  Ball Hawk Award Finalists!

The Ball Hawk Award is one of the most coveted defensive honors in the Gee League. This award is all about shutting down the air game—making it a true No Fly Zone. Interceptions are KING in this category, followed closely by pass break-ups and crucial tackles. The top finalists are the defenders who constantly disrupt passing lanes and make game-changing plays.

How the Scoring Works:

Players earn points for interceptions, pass break-ups (PBUs), tackles, and lateral touchdowns (defensive touchdowns). The focus here is on defensive playmakers who can turn the tide of a game by grabbing interceptions and keeping receivers on lockdown. These players embody the definition of a “Ball Hawk,” and their contribution to their team’s success is undeniable.

This year’s race has been extremely close, with the top defenders battling it out all season. Only 20 points separate the leader from the runner-up. With the competition so tight, the final voting will truly make the difference. Remember, defensive touchdowns are listed as lateral touchdowns this season.

Let’s meet the top 3 finalists who have been absolute nightmares for quarterbacks this season!
