🚨 GEE STAR WEEKEND: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6th 🚨
Gee League fans, get ready for the Season 11 Gee Star Weekend! This special event will showcase the best players from each conference in a series of electrifying events. The headliner? Conference teams will go head-to-head in a 25-minute brawl, followed by races, skill challenges, and more. It’s a day for Gee League legends to showcase their skills and for spectators to watch the ultimate showdowns.
Event Schedule:
10:00 AM – Conference Brawls
It’s a one-way fight with a spectator wall set 7 yards behind the QB. First team to score 4 points wins, and they must win by 2 to ice the game or ice drive if leading by 1. No timeouts, no stoppages. Let the best team dominate!
- 10:00 AM: OCC 2nd Team vs MCC 2nd Team
- 10:25 AM: OCC 1st Team vs MCC 1st Team (All participants get 1st team conference shirts!)
- 10:50 AM: Tie-Breaker – A special 1v1 challenge between the two conferences. Best of 9!
11:00 AM – 50-Yard Dash
Speedsters will face off to prove who’s the fastest in the league. The top two players from each heat will advance to the finals!
- Heat 1 (11:00): 89-99 speed
- Heat 2 (11:02): 89-99 speed
- Heat 3 (11:04): 83-89 speed
- Heat 4 (11:06): 78-83 speed
- 11:15 AM: Finals (89-99 & 78-83 speed)
11:20 AM – Lineman 1v1 Showdown
- A double elimination tournament where the strongest linemen will battle head-to-head.
11:20 AM – Quarterback Challenge
- Accuracy test: who can hit their targets?
- Distance: which QB can throw the farthest?
- Completions: see who racks up the most accurate throws.
11:45 AM – Communal Toast & Free Food!
After the intense competition, it’s time for a communal toast. Join us for free food and good vibes. Donations are welcome!
12:00 PM to Finish – Conference Kickball or Dodgeball Showdown
As the final event, we’ll end with a Gee Way Kickball or Dodgeball game. May the best conference win!
