Gee Games A successful hard fought day with athletes from all over competing to see where they rank in the very talented Gee League. The events moved very smoothly all the while opening a lot of eyes in the process. The events started with a very intense fast pace 50 yard dash tournament. It lived up to its hype as the “Logo Child” Ashante Worthy was crowned the fastest Gee League player and inheriting his new 100 speed My Player Card. Following the races we had a battle in the trenches with the lineman 1v1’s. This event quickly became a fan favorite as everyone gathered around and cheered on their teams respected lineman. It was nice to see the “Big Uglies” finally getting the spotlight they deserve. But in the end it was SOX’s unleashing his dominance and running though the competition smoking everyone in his way and receiving his new My Player Card with 100 defense. To continue the day we moved on to the QB challenges were multiple players came out with a chip on their shoulder proving to everyone that even though they don’t play QB they can still be considered a duel threat at any given moment. A lot of eyebrows were raised that was for sure, in the end it was Jerock Gaines that was crowned the best QB in the Gee Games. At this moment it wasn’t up for debate anymore he let the league and everyone watching know that he is actually about that QB life. Jerock was also gifted a new My Player Card with upgraded attributes everywhere. To end the events we saved the highly anticipated 1v1 shootouts to crown the best flag football player. When I say this was nothing short of excitement I’m really not lying. Players we’re getting upset left and right by the lower seed setting off a lot of crazy sideline cheers and sighs. At the end of the hard fought event it was Jesse Hunt coming back from the dead. All the way from the losers bracket back into the winners bracket and winning it all in stunning fashion against the player who sent him to the losers bracket to start the event. After being praised and crowned Jesse Hunt received his new My Player Card with a very special 100 jumping ability attribute after his amazing jump ball to win the tournament. All in all, the Gee Games were a success and everyone who showed out opened eyes and were really appreciated.
