48 boomers 6 lions This game was the game of the week and there was a lot of anticipation leading up to this crucial division match up. As Lions looked to continue their hot streak leading to the playoffs and the Boomers looked to get their team back on the same page and have a strong end to the season. The Lions had a rough time getting anything going this game “The Magician” Jerock Gaines tried to make plays happen but was completely dismantled by the boomers team he was only able to score one touchdown to Yahsin Calhoun. The Boomers came to play flying around on defense with their #1 draft pick Georgie Cuevas letting the league know even tho he missed the first half of the season he is still a all star as he had another multiple sack week with 3. Then on offense Boomer’s QB Ron made the #1 ranked Litty Lions defense look foolish as he literally did whatever he wanted against them as he threw for over 200 yards and 5 touchdowns. The Boomers put the not so Lit Lions to bed early and never let them get any life and ran away with the easy win. Letting it be known that even though it was a very up and down season when they’re all on the same page they’re to be considered contenders.
